3 Income Producing Activities You Must Do Each Day

Do you know your DMO? - Rhonda Swan
A DMO is your daily method of operations. When you put into practice daily tasks that will actually produce income, you will get a return on your time investment.
Most people, myself included when I first got started building our business, we focused too much on the how and not the important money making tasks. If you’re building a Network Marketing business, so many get hung up on the product features and the science behind it all, and the compensation plan. How to do social media, building a blog, watching guru videos, studying this and studying that…
The next thing you know, a month has gone by and all of the so called “income producing activities” you were working on, didn’t bring in a dime.

Stop wasting time. Start Making Money.

A lot of us, when we just start out in our home business, have a limited amount of time because we have so many other commitments to attend to. Like a J.O.B., our families, hobbies etc.
Well, if you’re spending all your time doing Non-Income Producing Activities such as the ones listed above, you are setting yourself up for nothing but frustration and disappointment.
I’ve seen many people walk away from online marketing, because they have put in a lot of time without any return. That is why I’m so passionate about giving my tribe step by step instructions of what they can do each day to generate leads and ultimately produce income.

TOP 3 Income Producing Activities You MUST Do Each Day.

In order to break away from the time wasting activities and actually start making money as an online marketer, there are 4 income producing activities that you MUST do every day. It is so important that you focus your energy on the things that will bring in the greatest return.

1. Place Ads To Generate Leads Or Sales

In order to reach your target market with your valuable services, you need to place ads. We run thousands of dollars through our Facebook ads every month to generate our best leads. Through the use of Facebook ads, you can generate warm leads every single day.
Not sure how to place effective ads? We get that question all of the time, which is why we have created videos in the Freedom-preneur Academy that will teach you exactly how to do this.

Here are a few tips to get you started on developing your own lead magnets.

2. Host Webinars, Hangouts, or Use Facebook Live

Everyday, look for ways to give your followers value. One of the best ways to do that is by hosting webinars, hangouts, or use Facebook Live. People want to connect with you on a more personal level while learning from you. Using live stream videos where people can ask you real time questions and you answer is so helpful.
At the end of your webinars, hangouts, and videos, you need to present a call to action. Where can they learn more from you? Lead them to an outlet that you can earn from, such as a lead capture page.
Every Wednesday night, we host the Freedom-Preneur Show in order to add more value to our followers. Each week, we bring on experts that are highly knowledgeable and that can deliver great information to those listening in.

11 Years Ago I Had a Vision to Work From Home

I Keep Moving Forward in My Business - Rhonda Swan
Each and every day, since then, I have had to put one foot forward and stayed focused on my vision. I’ve taken daily actions to become a better person and business owner.
When I started my first business, I called over 3,000 leads and didn’t make a sale…not even a penny.
I invest in myself, my education and listened to those around me that were having success and living the life I wanted.
Three months after starting my first online business, I walked into my boss’ office and said I needed to leave. I told her that I had found a business I could work from home and earn the same amount of money- if not more.
She laughed at me, and told me I would be back. Boy was she wrong.
I focused and built my business for another 3 months, taking daily actions and steps to learn the next move. I had small successes, and used those successes as a stepping stone in my growth.

I Made My Dream of Being a Work From Home Mom Come True

During those 90 days, my life turned around and so did my business. I never went back to the daily grind ever again.
It’s been 11 years since I said “YES!” to my new life, and said “YES!” to helping others achieve their dreams.
Has it been all sunshine and roses? Hardly, but it’s been the most rewarding adventure I’ve ever experienced and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I Share With Others How to Be Successful Business Owners

I’ve just arrived back in Bali after spending 2 weeks in Dubai and the Kingdom of Bahrain. I was able to share my journey with other Freedom-preneurs and had the chance to teach on the 8 Pillars to Online Success.
When we were in Dubai, all of the attendees were there to speak and give their Ted like talks. It was scary for them, because they had to speak in front of their peers and large crowds.
We went to a restaurant so that they could practice their speeches in front of the people that were there. Even though I’ve spent a lot of time on stages, I’ll be honest, it was kind of hard for me.
The goal was to desensitize themselves from caring what other people think. The biggest thing that stops people in their tracks is what people think about them. When others say things to you that affect you negatively, you end up changing the way you live your life.
I’m so thankful that I have worked to overcome what others think of me. The day I told my boss I was leaving and never coming back, she thought I was absolutely crazy. What if I had allowed what she thought of me to dictate my next steps? I wouldn’t be here today, that is for sure.
If someone had told me 11 years ago that I would be on stage speaking life into a crowd of entrepreneurs that have a DREAM to be FREE, and to live as a Freedom-Preneur, I would tell them they are crazy.
This is what having a vision can do for your life and for the life of others.
Don’t be afraid to fail or fall. Get back up and keep moving. Your life awaits you!

Some people watch on the sidelines- others play the game. Are you ready to stop caring what others think about you and boxing yourself into what this world says you have to be? If so, I invite you to check out the Freedom-preneur Academy. I hold nothing back in this training program, so that you are able to make the changes you want to make in your life.

How to Create a Valuable Blog For Your Business

  • Why You Need a Valuable Blog For Your Business - Rhonda Swan
We are in a time where people utilize the internet to learn the information they need. Providing valuable content on your blog is a great way to serve your potential customer. It is very important that you write high quality, consistent posts that add value to your reader’s life.
Another reason you should utilize this outlet is that it allows you to build relationships with your audience.

Valuable Blog Posts Are Highly Shareable

Interesting content is one of the top 3 reasons that people follow brand on social media. When you are writing information that is of high value, people will share it with others. This widens your influence and allows you to reach even more of your target market.

    Become a Proficient Writer

In the business world, it is important that you are able to communicate yourself well with your potential clients. By blogging on a regular basis, you are honing in on your communication skills. When you have committed to reaching your audience through this platform, your overall writing abilities will soar.

How to Write a Killer Blog Post

I think a lot of people shy away from writing a blog, because they aren’t sure what to write about. When you know your brand and have a core message, it can make writing blog content a whole lot easier.
Here are some of the things you need to keep in mind when writing a blog post:

Focus on Adding Value to Your Reader

There are a lot of people that think the market is saturated with content. Here’s the thing- it’s saturated with words, but much of what you read isn’t actually valuable. You need to focu on writing information that your target audience is in desperate need of.
Think about your ideal customer. What is their pain points? Pain points are problems, whether real or perceived. Figure out what your ideal customer has the biggest need of, and speak directly to that.
Not sure what your audience needs? Then consider creating a survey. This is a perfect way to figure out what their problems are and how you can speak directly to it.

    Figure Out Your Writing Voice

It’s super important that you write in such a way that you make a personal connection with people. No one is going to follow cold hard facts. Instead, they will follow someone that has captured their attention- and that is done through your writing voice.
Check out these 3 voice archetypes:
    1. Sage- This is a person that has a lot of experience and can speak with authority on their subject.
    2. Sherpa- This is someone who is a few steps ahead of the reader and can offer insight into things to come.
    3. Struggler- This is the individual that is in the process and willing to share their struggle and recount their current experiences.
No matter where you are in your business, you can offer value to your reader. Don’t think you have to be an expert. Pick the voice archetype the best fits you and stick with it until it changes. There will come a day when you go from Struggler to Sherpa to Sage.

    Create a Good Headline

Crafting the right headline is essential. You need something that will grab the reader’s attention so that they will click on your valuable content.
The other thing to keep in mind when writing a headline, is that it needs to have the keywords you are trying to target. You need to get creative with what you say, but not to the point that the reader isn’t sure what they are about to read.
Consider writing a headline with one of these models-
    • Number sequence- this gives the reader the number of points they are going to read.
    • Provocative question- ask a question that they just have to know the answer to. Write it in such a way that it peaks their curiosity.
    • How to- people will often type in “how to” do a specific task into a search engine. When you write this type of article, you are going to capture their attention.

Which Business Model is Right For You?

Which Business Model is Right For You? - Rhonda Swan
Starting a business was hands down the best decision Brian and I ever made for our family. We have a passion to help others make the same choice and be successful.
Today, I want to give you a free lesson from our Freedom-Preneur Academy. Drew Innes shares in this lesson about the 4 different business models you can choose from.

4 Business Models

In the Freedom-preneur movement, it is our goal to help you develop strategies that help you to align with your goals and reach a life that you love. That is why it is so important that you have a good understanding of the different types of business models there are.

1. Personal Products and Services

Some people already have a product or service that they know they are going to offer. These services or products could include:
  • Digital products
  • Online services
  • Cleaning homes
  • Lawn care
  • Coaching
Of course, this is a very small list of things that make up products and services. I wanted to make the distinction here that this is a bit different than a brick and mortar business model, because these are jobs where you meet the customer where they are.

2. Affiliates and Bloggers

Becoming an online affiliate and/or blogger is one of the easiest ways for someone to get started in making money online. It doesn’t require you to have your own products or services to start with. All you will need to do is promote another brand and get paid a percentage of the sales.
For example, if you become a lifetime member of the Freedom-Preneur Academy, you can become an affiliate with us. Through our affiliate program, you can share information about our coaching services, and if someone makes a purchase, we will give you a large commission for it.
Learn more in this video:
There are two ways to do this:

Affiliate Marketing

There are some people that sign up as an affiliate for a product and spend all of their focus on selling that product or service. They will develop leadpages, web content, opt-ins, and so on to educate potential buyers about what they are selling.

Develop a Blog

Another great way to be successful in affiliate sales is to develop a blog. This is where you write about your passions and the things that resonate most with you. Then, you find affiliate programs that are in line with your brand messaging and promote it with your audience.

3. Affiliation With Business Opportunities

This is another form of affiliate marketing. The top two forms of affiliation with business are multi-level marketing and direct sales.
Basically, you will become an ambassador for a company and sell their products for them. Part of that business model means you bring in others to the company so that they will sell. You will make commission from your sales and their sales, also.
We have an association called the Online Alliance in the Freedom-Preneur Academy that falls under this category. If that is something you would be interested in, be sure to contact me so that I can get you the information you need.

4. Brick and Mortar Businesses

I’m sure you know what a brick and mortar business is, because you likely shop in these on a regular basis. This is where a business owner sets up a location to do their business and the customer comes to them. They also have the ability to send their products and services outside of the location.

Take Your Business Model Global

Here’s one thing to consider, gone are the days where a small business owner has to stay local. You can take some of your services and products, depending on your industry, and make it global.
If you don’t have a position on the internet, you are doing a disservice to your customers. This goes for brick and mortar business just as much as the other business models. You need to be where your potential customers are hanging out.

Utilizing Ascension in All Business Models to Increase Sales

Ascensions is when you Increase customer value so that you can offer more of what people need and want. You can look at many business today and see where there is lost opportunity, because the owners are not maximizing what they offer.
If you don’t understand the role ascension plays, it can cripple your business. When you stop meeting the needs of your customers, you will lose them.
Look at your business and understand what products and services you have today that solve your customers’ problems. As you learn more about them, you will be able to develop more products and services that they need.
Another thing to ask yourself is how to bundle things in a different way to meet more needs. Take existing services and products you own and place them into different groups to target parts of your audience.

What Business Model is Right For You?

You may already have the business model that is right for you figured out. Or, you may be like many of the people that come to us. They know they want to be in business for themselves, but they have no idea what to do.
When you sign up for the Freedom-preneur Academy, we give you all of the tools you need to take your next steps in earning an income on your terms. We also provide you with coaching calls where you can ask questions and we provide you with the feedback that you need.

Create The Hub For Your Business On Facebook

Facebook Competition is Rising - Rhonda Swan

In fact, recent research from Econsultancy shows that 71 percent of brands plan to invest more heavily in social media in the coming year to reach new followers and build brand reputation.
Want to join their ranks and become known in your industry?

Use Social Media!

Facebook is by the far the best platform for promoting brand awareness, as nearly three quarters of Americans adults use the site.

Where to Put Your Social Media Efforts

Each of the social media platforms can be used for different purposes. I’ve found that Facebook is my best bet for reaching my audience. That is not to say that the other platforms are not valuable.
Not sure which social media platform you need to invest your time in? Here’s a few good rules to follow when using a platform to create the hub for your business.
Facebook is a great platform for promoting virtually any brand, due to its very heterogeneous user base.
Instagram is a great option for brands that rely heavily on images, such as clothing companies and retailers. It’s also particularly effective for reaching young adults, Hispanics and African Americans.
Pinterest is an excellent social network to reach women, especially for brands selling jewelry or clothing.
Twitter is perfect if you are trying to spread news and articles. It is also a good way to network with other professionals. While you may not get someone through their email, you can tweet at them to start a relationship.
Finally, if you operate a business-to-business company, LinkedIn is a stronger choice for promoting business-related content and connecting with other corporate influencers.

Learn the Best Times to Post

There are certain times of the day that you should be posting for each social media platform. If you have an internet business, then it is best to post according to the EST time zone. For those that have brick and mortar businesses, you will want to go with the times that your audience is on.
Here are some suggestions to stick with when it comes to posting for best engagement.

Use the Value, Value, Offer Method

When you post, be sure to use the value, value, offer method. This is where you will post at least two value based posts for every offer based post that you share. If you bombard people with your offers, you will turn them off.

Focus your attention on giving your audience a lot of value. When you have given them value, value, then you have earned the right to share an offer with them.
